The Broome Sports Foundation has multiple major fundraising events each year. These events include:

Winter Auction

Our "Winter Auction" is typically held in January or February at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.  The event occurs over the course of two evenings at Binghamton Senators hockey games.  The auction consists of sports memorabilia with a focus on ice hockey.  All funds from the auction benefit the Tommy Mitchell scholarship.

Summer Auction

Our "Summer Auction" is typically held in June or July at the NYSEG Stadium.  The event occurs over the course of two evenings at Binghamton Mets baseball games.  The auction consists of sports memorabilia with a focus on baseball.  All funds from the auction benefit the Tommy Mitchell scholarship.

Special Auctions

Special jersey auctions are held during both the hockey and baseball seasons.  Example: 2010 Winter Classic game jerseys, Binghamton Senators “Miracle on Ice” jerseys, and Binghamton Mets “Triplets” jerseys.
